White Summer – The Festival with Bohéme Flair
The traditional White Summer Festival, which is taking place for the fifth time this year, will lure us on Monday evening pals, a small town on the Costa Brava. In the summer, this unique event will take place in the open air on a former golf course for 22 days. The fantastically beautiful Masía Mas Gelabert is the heart of the festival.

We don’t know what to expect and are surprised by the amount of cars to be found when we arrive at the parking lot. We didn’t expect such a large crowd. The many small, white tents on the site can be seen from afar. The pink flags exude a romantic charm. We stroll eagerly to the entrance.

quality. creativity. uniqueness.
We enter the grounds and are overwhelmed by the offer and the diversity of the festival. Countless pop-up stores with handmade jewelry and clothing make every woman’s heart beat faster. We quickly lose ourselves in the crowd and immerse ourselves in the world of fashion. This fascinating place offers more than 100,000 visitors a unique experience. The chosen pop-up stores, filled with various fashion, jewellery and decorative items, stand for quality, creativity and uniqueness.

Miryam Cuatrecasas launched the project. Her intention was to increase the range of leisure activities in Pals during the summer. White Summer stands for social commitment and supports sustainability and KM0/Slow Food. All sellers and suppliers are locals.

But not only in terms of fashion Festival There is a lot to offer, even music fans will not be disappointed here. The solo of a saxophonist can be heard in the distance. We go closer and listen carefully to the enchanting music. Various bands perform on the many stages on the premises. Comfortable seating invites you to relax. Lovingly designed food trucks offer various culinary delicacies. The range of 30 food trucks and 3 restaurants is huge. From traditional Spanish dishes to delicious, vegan hot dogs, everything can be found here. White Summer is much more than a market. It is an event that combines leisure, gastronomy, art and music and leaves nothing to be desired. A place of creativity and diversity that surprises.

It’s getting dark. The ambience is now even more magical. The place fills with young people who can hardly wait to turn night into day. After a few drinks, we decide to go home. But we haven’t enough and we’re sure – we’ll be back!
