Camí de Ronda – Sa Tuna direction Sa Riera

Camí de Ronda – Sa Tuna direction Sa Riera

Wherever the path leads us…Camí de Ronda

The wandering fever got us again. We decide part of the Camí de Ronda of Sa Tuna (at begur) towards Sa Riera to explore. Just see where the path leads us, that’s the motto. The small bay of Sa Tuna impresses with countless boats at anchor and small, cute fishermen’s houses. After a few photos, we follow the way out of Sa Tuna to the next bay.

Different rock formations and rugged cliffs along the way. Here and there a delicate little plant protrudes between the rough rock. The sea shimmers in a wide variety of shades of blue. We reach the Cala Aiguafreda. There is a small snack here. A few fishing boats are eye-catching. It continues a little steeper up the stairs to Cap Sa Sal.

Passing the hotel and restaurant with spectacular sea views, the route runs along the country road for some time. We pass luxury villas and catch a few intimate insights into the private, noble properties. Smiling laughter and music penetrates through the fence. The pool party is in full swing. A house further dives someone in the large pool. We’re also craving the cool water. For us, however, it means sweating. Stairs finally lead down between the villas.

Rocks at Camí de Ronda

Now the hiking trail winds its way back directly along the cliffs. Stunning views of the Mediterranean! Huge, bizarre rocks rise out of the sea. We discover a small fishing boat between the rocks. The couple in love on board feels unobserved.

Turquoise Underwater Rock

We continue to follow the hiking trail with amusement. In the meantime it has become late and a refreshment in the turquoise blue water seems appropriate. Only a few snorkelers cavort in a wild rocky bay. So off to the cool waters. Luckily we have water shoes with us. Here you can only get into the sea over rough rocks. Finally in the sea, wonderful! Then we make our way back to the car.
