We also packed our beach bags with exciting reading reading, large beach towels, sunscreen and a good mood – meanwhile we were one of the experienced beachgoers – for a trip to Sant Pere Pescador near Roses.
A small Spanish village that convinces with a lot of gastronomy – just count it on the population of the town – campsites and a spacious, very well-kept beach. High waves with their white foam crowns that sparkle in the sunlight, fine-grained light sand, a constant fresh breeze – which makes sunbathing pleasant in the blazing heat. Who doesn’t long for a refreshing cola, a foaming, ice-cold beer or a tingling cocktail – accompanied by a small snack or more?
The Marlin Beach Bar In the immediate vicinity of the beach, our little daydreams were supposed to remedy the situation and invited with a gently sounding lounge music, a great sea view and lovingly decorated surroundings to a nice end to the soothing day at the beach. We walked very casually with our beach dresses to the beach location, which with its maritime charm and the ambience calling for holiday and relaxation seemed to have completely adapted to its surroundings.
In this pleasant atmosphere, time just flew away. The promising menu of food and drinks also played their part. We stayed with Sangria until the early evening, which brought live music with it.
We constantly watched visitors to the beach bar taking a selfie snap in front of a wooden sign at the exit to the sea. Curious, we also wanted to know what was behind it:
„Leave nothing, but footprints.
Take nothing, but pictures.
Kill Nothing, but time.”
